A Night to Remember: The Bai Umajam 2022 Coronation

The evening commenced with a heartfelt invocation and the national anthem, followed by an inspiring message from Mayor Lorife M. Otaza. The Sining Tala Dance Company mesmerized the audience with their performance, leading into the highly anticipated swimsuit parade featuring the Bai Umajam candidates. Cheers erupted as the supporters of each contestant filled the venue with energy. The tension increased as the hosts announced the top ten contenders, leading to an electrifying question and answer portion. Ultimately, only one could be chosen. The crowd erupted as Bai Poblacion was crowned the radiant Bai Umajam 2022!

March 31st: A Day of Gratitude and Celebration

The festivities concluded with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass, expressing gratitude for a successful celebration.

A Special Guest 

Atty. Mans Carpio, husband of Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte Carpio, joined the celebration, warmly welcomed by the people of Loreto.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, a delightful treat awaited! Officials and representatives from various barangays participated in a joyous gathering featuring the "Binaga Festival." This local favorite highlights the delicious "haluan" (snakehead murrel) grilled to perfection.
